What inspires us

Furniture is something that everybody uses and it is that interaction with the user on a daily basis that we are interested in. Everyday objects should enhance our lives and therefore we strive for well-designed furniture that can sit in any home.

The emphasis of our work is function combined with a considered and appropriate use of materials. We create thoughtful, refined objects, with an often deceptively simple aesthetic. Our production techniques range from traditional wood working skills to digital technologies, such as laser cutting and CNC production.

Making in the Midlands

We always highlight on our website and in all our marketing material that we work from a studio and workshop in the West Midlands, combining in-house production with outsourcing to local manufacturers.

Our location is significant to us as we made the decision to base our practice in the Midlands because of the rich industrial and manufacturing heritage of the area. This allows us to source almost all production within a ten-mile radius of the studio.
